Terms & conditions

The terms that apply when you buy from Crafted.

1. Who we are

Crafted is a trading name of Elite Crafter Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17520464. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

You can contact us by email at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. If we need to contact you, we will use the email address or phone number you gave us with your order.

2. These terms

These terms apply when you buy from us on craftedcorp.com as a consumer in the United Kingdom. Please read them before you order. Our contract with you is in English.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.

If you are buying for a business, for example a corporate gifting order, we will agree the terms with you in writing, and the consumer rights below do not apply.

3. Our products

Every piece is made by hand from natural leather or wood, so grain, colour and markings vary from piece to piece and from the photographs. These variations are part of the material, not a fault. Measurements are a guide and may differ slightly between handmade pieces.

Leather and wood change with use. Our care guide explains how to look after them.

4. Your order

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the products in your bag. We accept your order when we email you to confirm it, and that is when the contract between us starts. Your order confirmation will have an order number; please quote it whenever you contact us.

We may not be able to accept your order, for example if a product is no longer available, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if there is an obvious error in the price or description. If so, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT and UK import duties. Delivery charges are shown in your bag and at checkout before you pay.

We take payment when you place your order. If we find an obvious error in a price after you have ordered, we will contact you to ask whether you want to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

6. Personalised items

When you order a personalised piece, please check the spelling and details carefully, as we make it exactly as you ask. You can cancel a personalised order before we start making it. After that, because it is made to your specification, you cannot cancel it or return it for a change of mind. Your rights if it is faulty or not as described still apply.

7. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. Our delivery page gives our dispatch and delivery times. If we have not agreed a delivery date with you, we will deliver within 30 days of accepting your order.

If we do not deliver on time, you can give us a further reasonable period to deliver. If we still do not deliver, or if delivery on time was essential, you can end the contract and we will refund you in full.

The products are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to you, or to someone you name. They become yours once we have received full payment.

8. Your right to cancel

You have 14 days to change your mind, starting the day after you, or someone you name, receive the products. If your order arrives in more than one parcel, the 14 days start the day after the last one arrives.

To cancel, tell us clearly by email at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. You can use the model cancellation form on our returns page, but you do not have to. You then have 14 days to send the products back. You pay the cost of returning them, unless they are faulty or not as described.

We refund you within 14 days of receiving the products back, or of you showing us proof that you have sent them, whichever is sooner. The refund includes the standard delivery charge you paid and goes back to your original payment method. We may reduce it if the products have been handled more than you would need to examine them in a shop.

This right does not apply to personalised items or anything made to your specification (see section 6).

9. If something is wrong

We are under a legal duty to supply products that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. A summary of your key legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • up to 30 days after delivery: if your product is faulty, you can get an immediate refund;
  • up to six months: if your product cannot be repaired or replaced, you are entitled to a full refund in most cases;
  • up to six years: if your product does not last a reasonable length of time, you may be entitled to some money back.

This is a summary, not a full statement of your rights. For more detail, contact Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133 or visit citizensadvice.org.uk.

If you think a product is faulty, email us with your order number and a photo. We cover the cost of returning faulty items.

10. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to keep to these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products.

Our products are for domestic and private use. We are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.

11. Events outside our control

If something outside our control, such as a customs or courier delay, affects our ability to deliver, we will tell you as soon as we can and do what we reasonably can to limit the delay. If the delay is likely to be substantial, you can contact us to end the contract and get a refund for anything you have paid for but not received.

12. Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything, email us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your order number, and we will do our best to put it right. We will reply as soon as we can and in any case within 14 days.

If we cannot resolve your complaint, Citizens Advice can give you free, independent advice on what to do next.

13. Your personal information

We use your personal information only as set out in our privacy policy.

14. Using this website

The text, photographs and designs on this website belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may view and print them for your own personal use, but not copy or reuse them commercially without our permission.

We work to keep the website available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free from errors.

15. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
